Audemars Piguet (AP) has made no secret that it will discontinue the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ultra-Thin Replica 15202 with its streamlined caliber 2121 after 2021. Essentially a remake of the original Royal Oak 5402 “Big Mac” remake from 1972, the watch will be missed and its successor eagerly awaited.

The overall design is set, and the details alone can identify this Only Watch “Jumbo” watch. This more intimate dial, called the “Salmon Dial”, is made of pink gold and decorated with a “Petite Tapisserie” pattern, which complements the white gold hour markers and Royal Oak hands covered with luminous coating. The white gold case and the unique “Salmon Dial” combination add a touch of rarity to this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak replica watch. As I said before, the pink gold-toned “Petite Tapisserie” dial was first introduced in 1992 and is paired with a stainless steel case. Only 700 of this dial style were produced.
